Sales to Begin in January 2026 at All 280 BoxLunch Stores and Official Online Store

MAG.NET.CO.,LTD (hereinafter “MAG.NET”) has entered into a strategic partnership with BoxLunch, a major U.S. pop culture retailer, to expand the presence of officially licensed Japanese manga-based products in the United States.

Beginning January 2026, a curated selection of original manga merchandise—including T-shirts, caps, accessories, and English-translated volumes of Manga—will be available at all 280 BoxLunch stores nationwide and through its official online store.

The first wave of the collection will feature special items inspired by four popular manga titles originally published by Shogakukan: Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Inuyasha, Ranma1/2, and Uzumaki. Moving forward, the assortment of IPs and products will continue to expand, with the aim of introducing the depth and appeal of Japanese manga culture to a broader audience in the U.S.

Hot Topic, Inc., the parent company of BoxLunch, has been a pioneer in introducing Japanese pop culture to the U.S. market, offering a wide range of anime merchandise for over a decade. Leveraging this experience and expertise, the company will continue to expand its authentic product lineup based on official licenses to meet the growing demand for genuine, high-quality items.

Immersive In-Store Experience: “Shop-in-Shop” Installations to Appear in 10 Key Locations

As part of the collaboration, immersive, manga-inspired installations will be introduced in 10 specially selected BoxLunch stores. These “shop-in-shop” areas will feature themed displays and environments designed to reflect the world of manga.
Within these dedicated spaces, customers will find exclusively designed T-shirts, unique merchandise, and official publications—allowing both existing fans and new visitors to engage with the manga titles in a more experiential way and discover new favorites through the in-store experience.
