MAG.NET Co., Ltd. planned and produced a reversible T-shirt inspired by Akira Midousuzi, the popular Kyoto Fushimi High School character from Yowamushi Pedal by Wataru Watanabe (serialized in AKITASHOTEN’s Weekly Shonen Champion).

This item features a 2-way design that you can switch depending on the occasion, combined with a fabric well suited for cycling, workouts at the gym, and other sports scenes.

The T-shirt is available as a Kyoto City return gift through Japan’s Furusato Nozei (via “Satofull,” “Furusato Choice,” “Rakuten Furusato Nozei,” or “Furunavi”) for a donation of 33,000 yen until December 31, 2025.

A-Side Design Details

The front features a simple black base with a print of Akira Midousuzi’s mouth from Volume 74 of Yowamushi Pedal, taken from the scene in which he volunteers to become captain. The delicate printing replicates the nuance of the original manga linework.
The back incorporates a bicycle tire track motif along with the English lettering “KYOFUSHI,” representing Kyoto Fushimi High School.

B-Side Design Details

The B-side features an all-over pattern inspired by Nishijin-ori, a traditional Kyoto textile. Within the vibrant pattern, we placed Akira Midousuzi’s confident smile from the Volume 16 cover of Yowamushi Pedal, along with the Kyoto Fushimi High School emblem.
Look closely and you’ll find Midousuzi subtly “hidden” among the floral motifs.

About the Printing Technology

While standard reversible T-shirts are made by sewing together two separate layers of fabric, this product achieves double-sided printing on a single piece of fabric thanks to the advanced dyeing and finishing techniques of a long-established Kyoto dyeing manufacturer.

93% polyester, 7% polyurethane.
Durable, wrinkle-resistant, and safe to wash and dry in a home washer/dryer.

Fit & Size

Because the fabric is relatively thick, the fit is slightly tighter than a typical cotton T-shirt.
For a relaxed fit, we recommend choosing one size up.
